The Studio
Where Ideas Take Form
Nestled in a converted industrial loft with soaring ceilings and north-facing windows, the studio is designed to be both a sanctuary and a laboratory. Natural light floods the space throughout the day, creating an ever-changing atmosphere that directly influences the work.
The space is organized around a central working area large enough to accommodate canvases up to 8 feet wide. Surrounding this are dedicated zones for mixing, drying, and the delicate process of gold leaf application — each designed to support the specific demands of the creative process.
Studio visits are available by appointment, offering collectors and collaborators an intimate look at works in progress and the creative environment that shapes them.

The Artist's Palette
Every material is chosen with intention — for its quality, its history, and the unique qualities it brings to the finished work.
Acrylic Paint
Vibrant, fast-drying acrylics in a full spectrum of colours — the primary medium for all of Nekyta's canvas paintings.
Canvas & Brushes
Hand-stretched canvas paired with brushes in every size, from wide flat washes to the finest detail liners.
Modelling Dough
Applied with sculpting tools to build physical relief on the canvas — giving mountains their real weight and texture.
Black Chinese Ink
Unforgiving and expressive, used for bold outlines, calligraphic marks, and the deep shadows that define each peak.
Cardboard & Polyester
Torn cardboard for organic texture, polyester fabric pressed into wet paint to suggest wind and movement.
Rocks & Natural Materials
Stones collected from mountains in every city Nekyta has lived in — pressed into paint, ground into pigment, woven into the work.
The Studio in Motion
